Connected Social Accounts

The Connected Accounts are all of the different social accounts you have connected to Zoomph.

These are often referred to as "linked accounts", "access tokens", or "authentications". Having these accounts allows Zoomph to collect social media content from the respective platforms you connect to on your behalf.

In order to collect content from any of the social networks, you will need to connect a respective social account to Zoomph. The preferred option across all platform is connecting your organizations official handles to the platform.

Connecting official handles allow Zoomph to access the most accurate social metrics for your owned accounts as well as all available content types from each platform.

Zoomph has a designated page Connected Accounts page for you to connect and manage all of the social accounts you link to Zoomph.

Navigate to you Account Settings (drop-down in the top-right corner), and select Connected Accounts in the left menu.

For each platform you'd like to track content for click the 'Connect' button to authenticate the appropriate account.

For Facebook and Instagram, you'll need to connect a Facebook Business Manager profile that has access to your organizations Facebook and Instagram Business Profiles.

This will be a "personal Facebook profile" but Zoomph CANNOT access any personal information nor any content from personal Facebook profile. We will only access your business information

A business profile is require to access any content and data from Instagram. If you haven't yet converted your Instagram profile in to Zoomph, you may view steps to do so here.

Disconnections

Social accounts can only be connected to one Zoomph account at a time, so if you already have an account linked to a previous Zoomph account, but need for your current one, give us a shout to have it disconnected.

Social accounts can also be disconnected for a variety of other reasons including:

  • password changes
  • revoked access from the account owner
  • expiration (Facebook for example periodically requires re-authentication to third-party apps)

If a social account becomes disconnected for any reason, you will be notified via email as well as within Zoomph.

When social accounts become disconnected, Zoomph will not be able to collect any new content or data from that platform until the account is re-authenticated.
