🎥 How does Zoomph detect logos in videos across social platforms?

Zoomph uses advanced visual recognition to detect brand logos within social video content. Because each platform has unique formats and consumption patterns, our scanning approach is tailored to maximize accuracy and performance insights. Here’s how we process logo detection by platform:

✅ Full Video Scanning

We scan 100% of the video duration on the following platforms:

  • X/Twitter: All video types
  • Instagram: Reels, Stories, and Carousels

  • TikTok: All videos

  • YouTube Shorts: Full video scan

⏱️ Partial Scanning for Long-Form Content

To balance processing efficiency with viewer behavior trends, we apply partial scans to long-form video formats where brand value is typically concentrated earlier in the content:

  • Facebook:
    • Reels: Full scan

    • Long-form video: We scan the first 5 minutes of the video

  • YouTube:
    • Shorts: Full scan
    • Long-form video: We scan the first 10 minutes of the video

    • Live Streams: We scan the entire stream as needed.

📉 Why only the early portion for some videos?

Industry research and our own data show that audience attention and engagement decline significantly after the early moments of long-form video content. This means that the majority of brand visibility and value occurs in the first few minutes. By focusing detection in this window, we ensure efficient processing while still capturing high-value impressions.
